Hi everyone,
I'm trying to configure Microsoft authentication (using Microsoft Entra ID) in Power Pages by following this guide: [https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-pages/security/authentication/oauth2-microsoft]
Here’s what I’ve done so far:
- Enabled authentication in my Power Pages site via Power Pages Studio (Security > Identity Providers > Authentication settings).
- Registered the site as an app in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure portal):
- Added the correct redirect URI:
https://[yoursite].powerappsportals.com/signin-microsoft
- Created a client secret and saved both the Client ID and secret.
- Went back to Power Pages > Identity Providers > Configured Microsoft with the Client ID and Secret.
- Clicked "Sync" and then tried signing in from the portal.
Issue:
When I click the Sign in button on the portal and select Microsoft, I get the following error message:
"Unable to authenticate with the external account provider."
I'm not sure what’s going wrong. I’ve double-checked the redirect URI and client credentials. My site is still in preview (not live) could that be a factor?
Has anyone else faced this issue, or can guide me on how to troubleshoot it?
