Formatting multiple word documents to multiple PDFs after each one has had a macro run to format

I’m fairly new to flows, but feel that I should be able to do this, but don’t quite know where to start!

I’ve taken on the responsibility of a process that I know can be streamlined.

I have on average 250 word docs that are generated by another software program into one folder, that are currently individually opened, run two macros, then saved as a pdf, and this happens each week, so takes hours.  I think I can get the macros into one to simplify that element.

Anyone point me in the right direction??

I have the same question (0)

    @KerryI

    Unfortunately the answer is no, you cannot.

    You can easily convert the word docs to PDF (if they are in SharePoint or OneDrive), but there is no way to run the Macro from Power Automate, not even with Graph API.

    I wish I had a better answer for you, but since you need to run the Macro, its a no go from the Cloud version. Now from the Desktop Version,  you most likely good indeep do this.

    Or combine them and have the Desktop version loop the files, execute the Macros, then copy them or move them to OneDrive/SharePoint and then over there have a flow that then converts them.. but you could probably convert them to PDFs in the Desktop version also.. so

    If you like my answer, I would really appreciate if you please Mark it as Resolved, and give it a thumbs up, so it can help others

    Cheers

    I'll ask the IT team if they will give me the desktop version and go from there - thank you
