Hoe can I remove "Select All" from a multi select dropdown in Microsoft Power Pages?

Hi there,

I have a multi select dropdown on my Power Page. The issue is that I need to remove the "Select All" option at the start because the people using the form click this by accident on a mobile device and for fields that have multiple values, then it's a painful exercise to remove one by one. See the attached screenshot.

How can I remove "Select All" as an option. Any advice would be appreciated.

    I don't necessarily recommend this but to answer your question

    // inside a jQuery document.ready block
    $("label[name=your_field_schema_name_here-label]")[0].remove();

    Hi @Fubar ,

    Any idea why this is only executed after I have selected one of possible choices? So after change in choices field?

    $(document).ready(function () {
     $("#<fieldname>_ControlView").change(RemoveSelectAll);
     RemoveSelectAll();
    });

    function RemoveSelectAll() {
     $("label[name=<fieldname>-label]")[0].remove();
    }

    Also statement that you "don't necessarily recommend this", why is that?

    @Tonip81 no idea why for you only on change - when I did it I did not have it with onchange.  Depending on where you are trying to run it is possible that you are in a spot where document.ready is not the appropriate 'trigger'

    I don't necessarily recommend it as you are altering something inside the Control (i.e. it is not rendered as a standard HTML select tag with multiple), so you are basically hacking some code provided by Microsoft rather than using a method exposed by Microsoft to achieve what you need.
