Hi All,

I have a powerapps canvas app with an offline mobile profile, for uploading and downloading data to/from dataverse.

A user has reported that in the device status menu under "data to upload", the rows to upload won't go down even when manually syncing by selecting "check for updates". See the attached video.

They are able to download new data from dataverse, but they cannot upload. The sync status is stuck on "ready with pending uploads". This appears to have affected one or two other users as well.

This occurs on both wifi and when the device is tethered to a mobile hotspot.

We need this data to be uploaded to dataverse so that we can send it to our clients.

Does anyone know why these uploads might be stuck?

Data rows to upload on canvas mobile stuck, won't go down despite downloads working successfully.
It sounds like you're experiencing issues with the offline sync functionality in your Power Apps canvas app. Here are some steps and considerations to troubleshoot and resolve the issue of stuck uploads:
    Troubleshooting Steps
    1. Check Offline Profile Configuration:
      • Ensure that the offline profile is correctly configured and includes all necessary tables and data. Verify that the profile is assigned to the users experiencing the issue

    1. Verify Network Connectivity:
      • Confirm that the devices have a stable internet connection, whether on Wi-Fi or mobile hotspot. Sometimes intermittent connectivity can cause sync issues

    1. Inspect Device Status:
      • On the affected devices, go to the Device Status menu and check for any error messages or warnings related to the sync process. This can provide insights into what might be causing the issue

    1. Optimize Offline Data:
      • Ensure that the amount of data being synced is within recommended limits. Excessive data can cause sync delays or failures. Limit the number of records and the total data size to improve performance

    1. Update Power Apps Mobile App:
      • Make sure the Power Apps mobile app is updated to the latest version. Sometimes, updates include fixes for sync-related issues

    1. Clear Cache and Data:
      • On the affected devices, try clearing the cache and data for the Power Apps mobile app. This can resolve issues caused by corrupted or outdated data.
Steps to Clear Cache and Data
    1. Android:
      • Go to Settings > Apps > Power Apps.
      • Select Storage and then Clear Cache and Clear Data.
    2. iOS:
      • Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage.
      • Find Power Apps and select Offload App or Delete App. Reinstall the app from the App Store.

    • Optimize Offline Profile: Follow guidelines to optimize the offline profile to ensure efficient data sync

    Providing Feedback
If the issue persists, consider providing feedback to Microsoft:
    1. Send Feedback:
      • Open the Power Apps mobile app.
      • Go to Settings > Help and feedback > Send feedback.
      • Describe the issue in detail and submit it.
