Extra domain can only be added to portals with AFD status StateProvisioned

Hey Power Pages Community,

Initially, after adding a domain via custom domain settings in Power Pages, I encountered a "Page not found" error related to the Azure Front Door Service configuration.

To troubleshoot, I decided to remove the custom domain settings from the Power Pages admin center. However, now when attempting to add same custom domain, I'm facing an issue. The error message indicates a problem setting up the content delivery network, and the browser's network tab shows the following:

{

    "Message": "Extra domain can only be added to portals with AFD status 'StateProvisioned' or 'StateAwaitingCustomDomainValidation'. CurrentAFDStatus: StateProvisionStarted",

    "ErrorCode": "B004"

}

It seems like the Azure Front Door Service is still in the provisioning process with a status of 'StateProvisionStarted.'. This error has been there almost 72-96 hours.

If anyone has encountered a similar situation or has insights into resolving this issue, I'd greatly appreciate your guidance.

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Can you check the AFD status ?
    You can check the status of the AFD in the Power Platform admin center, under Resources > Power Pages sites > Manage > Site Details. The AFD status should be either StateProvisioned or StateAwaitingCustomDomainValidation before you can add a custom domain.

    If the AFD provisioning is taking too long or fails, you can contact Microsoft Support to troubleshoot the issue. You can submit a support request from the Power Platform admin center, under Help + support > New support request.

    Hello,

    Thank you for the guidance. I've carefully explored the Power Platform admin center following your instructions, specifically under Resources > Power Pages sites > Manage > Site Details. However, I couldn't locate any settings related to the AFD status. I've checked thoroughly, but it seems the AFD status information is not available in the specified section.

    The underlying issue stemmed from the architecture of Power Apps, which is managed by the Azure Product Group. To rectify the problem, it was necessary to engage Microsoft so they could access the backend and address the specific job causing the issue.
