Hi,

My company has started using microsoft forms for an initial application form, and due to the results processing of forms itself not being very useful for us, I have created a flow to populate a word doc template using sharepoint document properties. The problem with this is that the form includes a few longer answer fields, many of which could sometimes exceed the 255 character limit. This causes the flow to fail, which I have managed to avoid in some cases by using a 'HTML to text' connector and using the output of this in the 'update file properties' connector. This solution doesn't seem to be fool proof though as I am getting an error on a question that I have completed this process for.

Some extra details:
- Sharepoint document property has been set to multiple lines and unlimited length
- Word doc is converted to pdf once populated
- String of over 900 characters works fine, however 520 characters on a different question is causing the problem

Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi

I sort of follow what you are saying, but can you please share what you actually have as a flow, we cannot reproduce what you are saying.

Share pictures, with inputs and outputs, share a flow Run with inputs and outputs and define what you need specific help on.

Need to see your SharePoint fields, need to see your Template etc.
