Control Topis ans Subtopic in a form field

Hello All

In a form on my Protal, i have a field of Topics and SubTopics ,
and user must choose only one "SubTopic" if the "Topic" have "Subtopics" , else user can choose "Topic"

other wise , Users can only select "Topics" with no children in the topic tree

How do I proceed?

@domliu Yes, that's right.

In fact, the Subject fields (mentioned above) present this set of options

@oussouss so just to confirm, both subject and sub-subject are from the same optionset? they are all just optionset values from the same option set right?

Hi @oussouss ,

From your screenshot, which one is topic and which one is sub topic? Looks like its just an optionset field to me.
