How to handle Optional xml node parsing in xpath Power App Flow

How to check xml node is present or not using xpath

Currently I am using  xpath(item(),'int(CurriculumSubTopic/?PageNumber)').  for parsing not exist node in my xml.

For some of my xml files 'PageNumber'. node is not existScreen Shot 2021-06-30 at 8.45.32 PM.png

    Unfortunately we are currently facing the same issue and searched a lot for solution, but no luck.
