So I have created a flow for my support team the problem is people keep reaching out to me because my name pops up in the flowbot "Nik Johnson Via Power Automate" and they think I can assist which I can't. Can I change the name to something else such as a Shared mailbox account or another persona? I don't have a problem helping folks but the goal is to get them to leverage the bot not try to side step it by reaching out to someone. Thanks
I am having the same issue, I am posting an email to a teams channel and shows my name as via power automate
post comes with my name via power automate, is there a way to remove it?
I'm using Logic Apps to build a workflow and I'm running into the same thing. It would be nice to be able to select an option within the settings of the workflow that lets me show/hide my name associated with a teams message post using flow bot instead of having to spin up a whole other service account - and maintain that service account. Not sure what the use case would be to show the persons name who created the workflow.
Hi,
Did you find a way to do it without creating a new account ?
I don't have admin right in my organisation and I'm facing the same issue as you.
Hi @Nik_Johnson ,
For an automated flow which will send messages or emails etc., the best approach is to create a service account and use it to create flows. If you are administrator, you can
1. export this flow
2. create the account and assign licenses, login Power Automate using that account
3. import the flow package.
