Dear,

How can I edit the blog side part (as included in the Community Portal)? I want to hide stuff, change some (erroneous) translations,...

Are there snippets, templates,... that I can alter? Where are the translations for all available languages stored so I can edit them?

Thanks,

Koen

If you use the Portal Management app (found in the Apps listing in make.powerapps.com), and navigate to Web Templates , you can find all the templated content. Find the template you're looking for (making sure to filter for your Website first) and edit it to suit your changes. For example, the screen shot you shared seems to be in the Side Navigation template, but that's just by judging the shape of the screenshot.

    I hope this helps?

    Hi Hugo,

I checked the Side Navigation web template, but I don't see if this is the correct place to look for.
For example, below the screenshot for the Dutch version of the site; the word "Archive" is wrongly translated to "Archiveren", I wonder where these translations are defined.

Also the part "Options" I would like to hide...

Try using the Edit filters button on the Active Web Templates list and filter for Source Contains "Archiveren". If you don't find it there, try the same approach in the Content Snippets list.

If you can't find it using this approach, I often use the Power Platform CLI to download the entire site and find where the content comes form by searching the entire code.

And if you can't find it there, it may be in the localizable text for your app.

    I hope this helps!

Let us know where you found it!

    Hi @hugobernier,

I'm trying to download an entire site with the CLI:

    1. Added the Power Platform Tools extension to VS Code.

    2. Added a local authentication profile.

    3. Would like to get the portal ID so I can run the download command:

pac paportal download --path "C:\portals" --webSiteId f88b70cc-580b-4f1a-87c3-41debefeb902

    4. But listing the portals, which I hope will return the portal IDs, with:

    pac paportal list

    Returns this:

Portal entities are not available on this org, please install portal package on the org.

Meanwhile, I have a portal created and available on a powerappsportals.com URL.

Can you please help me with this as to download the site and view the entire code?
