Is Dataverse storage included in a Pay-as-you-go plan and if so how?

When I look at the pricing pages Power Pages Pricing | Microsoft Power Pages it tells me Dataverse storage is included in a Pay-as-you-go plan:

When I look at how to set up a Pay-as-you-go plan Set up a pay-as-you-go plan - Power Platform | Microsoft Learn it tells me Pay-as-you-go is available for production and sandbox environments.

When I try to convert my trial environment to a production environment, it tells me I need at least 1GB of database capacity:

When I try to add database capacity Add Microsoft Dataverse storage capacity - Power Platform | Microsoft Learn it tells me I'll need to pay £30.20 per month:

How can it say Dataverse storage is included in a Pay-as-you-go plan if I have to pay £30.20 per month?  Or have I missed or misunderstood something?

    Hi @deepabansal @hugobernier  @PriyaVR

Can you please clarify the pricing and the dataverse storage feature for PAYG?

Also, please raise a support ticket by clicking here

    Hope it helps.

    Thanks

I raised a support ticket on 2nd Feb.  Still waiting for confirmation of outcome.  Seems like some other customers are having related issues.  Will post on here when I know more.

    MS Support have confirmed that:

    • Pay-as-you-go can only be set up on a production environment
    • It is first necessary to purchase 1Gb Dataverse storage capacity to convert a trial environment to a production environment
    • They consider the costs of pay-as-you-go and the costs of converting a trial environment to a production environment to be separate matters

I think for MS to say 'Includes Dataverse storage' on the pay-as-you-go pricing information is very misleading and very annoying.  I have submitted this as an idea: Include the costs of converting to a production environment in the pay-as-you-go pricing information · Community (microsoft.com)

    Please vote if you agree.

I have the same issue so looks like mothing has changed in the last 6 months. Did this work OK for you in the end? I am concerned that in M365 Billing I am added 1GB of Dataverse capacity but it states this is a annual commitment whereas I will only need it for an hour or two in order to change over to the PAYG plan.

Hi there.  I was sidetracked with other work and family stuff.  Then they converted my trial environment to a developer environment: Introducing Power Pages developer websites| Microsoft Power Page   I haven't had a chance yet to investigate what I can and can't do in the developer environment.  Sorry I can't be more help.
