1. I am trying to import the zip file from the original post here

However I keep on getting the below error in spite of multiple attempts.
Is it because it is an old post and no longer valid on new versions?
2. Likewise, there is a .msapp file on the original post here, but while importing in Power Apps it asks for a zip file.

I am using the Apps -> Import Canvas app menu as suggested in the above links.

if you have .msapp You can create blank app than go to file -> Open -> Browse and point to it it will open the app this way all imports require exporting of app witch will be in Zip file
