Hi team,

Could you please specify what license is required to use the on-premise data gateway in the flow?

From the link https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Flows/quot-Your-license-s-doesn-t-support-use-of-gateways-quot/m-p/142762#M14226,

I have tried to assign the following licenses which includes the "Flow for Office 365" to the user and got the following error "

Your license(s) doesn’t support use of gateways. To use this feature, start a trial." while saving a File System connection.

Microsoft 365 Business Standard

Office 365 E3

    Hello @MInghaoLi

The bottom line for both Power Automate and Power Apps is that you either use the free license as part of Office 365 or purchase any number of Plan 1, Plan 2, Per User or Per App licenses.

Related to your licensing query you can check this below official document ::
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/powerapps-flow-licensing-faq

    Thanks

    Hi @pre ,

Thanks for your reply. So does this mean the licensing option for Flow was changed? I'm wondering if there is any official link to state the changes.

BTW, I'm using Flow, will the PowerApps work for me? I've also found the link below for Flow. Could you please also help confirm which license I should buy?

    Thanks and BR

Re: What license is required to use On Premise data Gateway?

    Hello @MInghaoLi

The on-premises gateway is a premium feature and requires either the per App (up to two related apps for a user) or the per User (unlimited apps for a user) license.  None of the Office 365 seeded licenses provide access to the premium features.  The licenses on this page are what you need.
