Hi,
I have created a gallery filled with my data from 'Excel Online' tables. However when i go to search on number, the gallery returns blank information straight away.
I have tried to format my excel online columns as number, text and general but to no avail. If i change my formula to look at actual text columns, the search works perfectly first time.
I have added an example of the code above.
I honestly have no idea, I would suggest making a separate post so you can get more audience for your specific issue, rather than for the OP.
Hi Everyone,
I’m working on a PowerApp to add comments to a Power BI dashboard. I'm using a direct query from Azure SQL to Power BI and have set up the table with a primary key ID.
The problem is, the ID and comments box aren’t showing up in Power BI. I’ve tried different login IDs and even used data from OneDrive and SharePoint, but nothing seems to work.
Has anyone run into this issue before or have any ideas on what might be going wrong?
Thanks in advance for your help! Here are some screenshots for reference.
To answer your first question, it is definitely a data type issue where you are filtering by text rather than a number in a number column or something along those lines.
To answer your second question, I would use a number input if you want to input purely numbers and be ensured it is of numeric type. It is a modern control, so make sure to turn modern controls on to get it to work.
So, I am attempting to basically use a input box to 'filter' down a gallery until the correct result appears from my dataset. However, when I enter the first number to begin the filter, the gallery just goes blank and nothing shows.
My question really is, is there a way to change the format of text to number etc so that the numbers from my dataset appear in the gallery when I begin a search
I hope this makes sense!
what are you attempting to do / how can we help with this?
