Power Pages Performance

We’ve built a power page form with approx. 6 questions, file upload option and 2 small images. Responses will go into a SharePoint list. We expect 1700 submissions per week. Will the end user experience delays in accessing the form/site and submitting?

Who are the users / how are they signing-in to your Portal?

    • If they are internal (using Azure AD) - you need to make sure users have (at least) Power Apps license, and then reach out to Microsoft so they can scale the Azure resources, my understanding is that this doesn't happen automatically in this scenario
    • If they are external (using local auth / open id providers) - you need to purchase and assign the license pack(s)
    • if they are anonymous - you need to purchase and assign anonymous license pack
I’m advised by I.T capacity of licensing isn’t an issue as we’re a 3400 business

This doesn't make much sense to me, you still need to be licensed for your Production portal.

Is the integration between Dataverse -> SharePoint happening sync or async? this may also affect performance, but overall I wouldn't be too concerned here.

Thanks. No stress test yet, didn’t realise we could. SharePoint is integrated via dataverse. OOB multiform, pretty simple 1 page form. I’m advised by I.T capacity of licensing isn’t an issue as we’re a 3400 business

    A few questions for you:

    • have you run any stress test?
    • how are you integrating with SharePoint?
      • is this Power Pages --> Sharepoint via Cloud Flow
      • or is this via Dataverse --> Sharepoint?
    • how is your form designed? using OOB Multistep forms?
    • have you purchased/assigned capacity packs for your environment?
