Hello,
Is there a way to permanently remove the Portal Content Editor Toolbar? Exiting out of it removes the toolbar temporarily, but if you navigate to another page, it automatically returns. Is there a way to disable this feature?
This toolbar shows up by default for users that are in Administrators Web Role. The fastest way to disable would be to not provide this web role to portal users, but instead use the Authenticated users or use a Custom Web Role
Just so you know that this editing behavior is provided to an Administrators Web Role via a Web Page Access Control Rule named Grant Change to Administrators. Removing or deleting this control rule will disable the editor toolbar for Administrators also
All of this is managed via the Portal Management companion app
@sandeepd Unfortunately, the content editor is showing up even for contacts that only have the OOtB Authenticated Users web role. This has happened for 2 separate portal instances that are not related to each other. I do not want to disable the Web Page Access Control Rule (grant change to admins) since this will also be disabled for admins. Any ideas?
