we don't have anymore the button to create a Portal Application in the maker portal , we can create only Canvas and Model-driven apps.

How we can now create portals in a new environnement (without using the new power pages sites) ?

    Hi @CVN

Going forward you can create portals aka power pages via the new URL

    https://make.powerpages.microsoft.com/

Both portals and power pages are the same.

    Hope it helps.

    Hi @ragavanrajan

When i'v created a new site with https://make.powerpages.microsoft.com/  it was created with the new data model ( the mspp_ * tables)  , then i realized that the toggle "Switch to enhanced data model"  was ON, it seems it was enabled automatically on all environnements ! , when i switched it OFF and created a new site it was created with the old model ( the adx_* tables) ,  so it is OK , it resolves the problem , we're going to live with our loved adx  tables for years to come  🙂

You can't directly create a portal application within a regular PowerApp (canvas or model-driven). Power Apps offers a separate portal functionality to build external facing web applications. Here's how to enable and create a Power Apps portal application:-

    Enabling Power Apps Portals:-

    1. Access Power Apps:- Go to powerapps website & enable it.
    2. Environment Selection: Ensure you're in the correct environment where you want to create the portal.

    Creating a Power Apps Portal:-

    1. New Option: Click "New" from the navigation pane on the left.
    2. Portal Selection: Choose "Portal" under the "Create an app" section. You can create from scratch or use a template (if available).
    3. Portal Configuration: Provide a name for your portal, a unique web address, and select the desired language.
    4. Creation Process: Click "Create" to initiate the portal creation process. This can take up to 45 minutes.
