Hi all,
I am using a Populate a Word Template action to populate my data into it.
I have table in word document which gets populated with items from the share point list. Like example below:
Item Name | Item No |
Sometimes 2 rows filled out or some times 3 filled with data. Problem is, when there is one blank row, it should auto hide/delete so it only show filled data in the table.
Note: This is an example table with 3 rows, I have table with 20 rows that takes 2 pages. So, when there is only half data gets populated in the table, the whole pages wasted and it saves the file with blank page.
Is there any way I can avoid this when saving file. Please help me out on this
Thanks
You want to use a repeating control per the video. It will handle the dynamic number of values supplied. Supply 10, get 10 rows.

To answer your question, I am using a share point list ad my data source. below are the steps i am following:
1- Recurrence trigger
2- Get item action from share point.
3- Using "Populate a Microsoft Word template" action I am trying to map values from the last action
4- create file in share point.
Now, issue is, I have created a table (Total 20 rows) in word template consist of 2 pages. For example; if record comes with 10 rows then the rest of the table stays empty and so the page.
I want to remove that empty page/table if there is any in template. Please suggest me how can I do that?
Thanks
Are you using a repeating control - as seen here? https://youtu.be/lBXSsEIlWok
I need to understand if your data source has an empty row - if so, use a filter array where the value is not equal to nothing or if your Word Doc has a table of 3 rows - in which case use repeating controls.
Please consider accepting my answer as a solution if it helps to solve your problem.
Cheers
