Barcode Update List Items

Hi All,

I have a Asset Update page that I just need help with.

When pulling data, a text input is populated with a barcode number and pulls down that list items data into an edit form. I would like to update particular text input fields with a different barcode scanner. If im not updating it, leave it?

How can i achieve this properly?

Example below - Asset Number has the text input 1231412, If I click the scan button, I need the updated field to represent in that field. If I'm only editing that, leave everything else.

use the Barcode Scanner control and manage the data flow.

@SaiRT14 So I'm using the barcode scanner control, Thats no issue. It's updating the current data inside that text input with the First(BarcodeReader).Barcodes data.

There was a way in which I don't remember how to do it but you could have an "or" statement that could overwrite that data if the value was newer.
