Hello,

I have built m first flow. I using an excel file with 300+ rows to send EFT remittances. My one drive file has 48 pdf's saved however only 19 emails can be sent during each run. Is there a way to increase this?

Thanks!

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @Zamir33 ,

I am not aware of a Send Email (V2) limit; I have some flows sending 200+ emails in a single daily run.  I suspect this is most likely a licensing and/or environment issue.  Can you share your license type and what environment you are running this flow from?  Is it a sandbox, dev, prod, default?

    Hi @trice602 ,

Thank you for your response. It is strange as in my testing i was able to sent over 200 but they were all sent to an internal email with the same attachment. I am now sending different attachments based on a list of specific emails and file names. I am using the free version and in the upper right corner is say default environment.

I thought it might have something to do with this field. Based on 19 with the first row being the headers.

My knowledge is very limited to some Youtube videos that helped me build this. Thanks in advance for your assistance here.

    Zamir

    Hi @Zamir33 ,

The root cause is most likely the licensing.  Sending more than 200 emails (and an unknown amount of other actions) may cause you to go over the 24-hour threshold for a free license.  Did you receive any email notifications that mention thresholds or throttling?

Lastly was there an error message?

    Hi @trice602 ,

    No email notifications were received.

No error message either. As seen in the screenshot the flow ran successfully.

Just to add I was able to finish my task by only adding 10 attachments to my one drive and running flow to get all 48 emails sent. I think that would eliminate the licensing issue?

Re: Using Power Automate to send a large number of emails

    Hi @Zamir33 ,

On the flow run where the email didn't go out, did you expand the condition and make sure it met the conditions? There are no errors so really guessing.  Even with a free license, sending 19 emails should be an issue.

I really need to see what those apply to each actions are, expanded, to see all the actions.

    Hi @Zamir33 ,

Yes, that helps - very helpful.  From my understanding, the gmail send email action has a lot of complaints about the stability.  I haven't used if myself, but what you are describing is in line with a lot of other posts about email issues.  I wish I could be more help.  Tom

    Hi @trice602 ,

Thanks for trying to help. If I was to use Outlook do you think that would solve the problem?

Re: Using Power Automate to send a large number of emails

Not knowing the exact issue (because there isn't an error) and you are on a free license, it is hard to say.  I would recommend you try the outlook connector "Send Email (V2)" action if you have an account.  Don't try it with an outlook.com connector, there are known issues.
