Concurrency and Apply to Each Loops and limits

Hi All,

I'm currently facing a challenge with my Power Automate setup and would appreciate any insights or solutions you might have.

Here's the scenario:

I've configured Power Automate to retrieve all items from a SharePoint list containing 200 records, specifically for managing contract renewals.

Within the "Apply to Each" loop, I've incorporated a series of actions, including sending adaptive cards, gathering responses, updating items, initiating and waiting for approvals, and performing additional item updates.

The objective is to efficiently trigger all 200 processes simultaneously for different staff members, allowing them to complete their adaptive cards, send for approval, and carry out subsequent actions.

However, I've encountered an issue with the concurrency settings. When I set concurrency to 50, only 50 processes are initiated at a time. On the other hand, with concurrency turned off, it appears that only one process runs at a time.

I'm reaching out to the forum in the hope that someone might have encountered a similar situation or has insights into resolving this challenge. Your assistance and suggestions would be highly valuable.

Cheers,

Only an idea 😊: Put the Apply to each into a child flow and run this from parallel branches with parts of the original list as input.
