Dear Members,
Am new to this kind of connection - which is between Google Cloud Platform to PowerApps but using PostgreSQL to connect.
How do I connect the Google Cloud Platform gateway using the PostgreSQL type connection? Is there a sample to share and can I please have some guidance? Not too sure why the gateway reference continues to be greyed out or that there the button to "connect" didn't actually appear appropriately to allow to connect. Also, why is there a "preview" on the connector?
Thanks in advance team!
Hi @Anonymous ,
Apologies for the initial response, the direct access to Google Cloud platform is not supported by Postgresql connector, this connector is to access On-Prem data.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/postgresql/
So what you are trying to do is unsupported I believe, however I found a another thread replied by a colleague which is well documented.

Thanks @danielbazetto , I've read it and couldn't completely understand the difference between CData and Google Cloud Platform. Is not the gateway the same between all 3rd party databases or that I will have to check directly with Google Cloud Platform help centre to provide a gateway for this purpose?
Hello @Anonymous
Regarding the question regarding preview, you can see it there because this connector was not fully shipped and it can have changes on the way it works, for more info regarding preview you can find it here:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/working-with-experimental-preview
The image you posted says you do not have a Gateway configured, that will be required. I found a link that might be helpful as well:
