PPF Pipelines : How do you manage reference connexion in production environment

Hello,

When a user deploys a flow contained in a solution to the acceptance and production environments using the native Power Platform pipelines, the connection references remain under the developer's name. However, I would like them to be associated with an SPN account or a service account managed by IT.

Deployments are performed using an SPN account, but this does not change the identity of the connection references.

Previously, with ALM Accelerator, it was quite easy to manage, but with the native pipelines, it’s more challenging.

I'm curious to know how you handle this.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,
In Pipelines delegated with SPNs, the identity of connection references is not changed to the spn, only shared with it.

    Hi AlbertoCastro,

Thanks for the reply. I know that but do you change the identity of the reference connection when a dev deploys his solution to prod.
With AAE4AA (ALM accelerator for PPF) it was easy to do that but how can you force the change of the identity by a service account instead of the identity of the user ?

So I'm answering myself and maybe it might interest some of them.

I realized that I could access the deployment settings corresponding to the solution being deployed and that I could modify the connection ids

All you have to do is create a connection with the service account, write down its ID on the PROD env

and replace it in the JSON
