Add a custom domain stuck at "Create SSL Binding"

I am trying to add a custom domain. I am using GoDaddy. I have gotten the SSL certificate loaded, added the CNAME record (for www, @ is invalid according to GoDaddy), validated the domain (added the TXT record Power Pages told me to). Now I am at the Create SSL Binding step, when I click "Next" I get the little "progress circle" and the same form loads, not moving on to the next step (Review). No error messages are displayed. Any ideas?

Please find the screenshot below.

Usually, please allow up to 48 hours to get the CNAME record to be synced and valid.

Here are a few things you can try:
Make sure that your domain is configured correctly. The domain must be registered with a domain registrar and pointed to your Power Pages site. You can check the DNS settings for your domain to make sure that they are correct.
Wait for the DNS changes to propagate. It can take up to 48 hours for DNS changes to propagate. After 48 hours, try adding the custom domain again.
Try clearing your browser's cache and cookies. This can sometimes resolve issues with adding custom domains.
make sure that the portal is not in maintenance mode.

Thank you @mandela and @ragavanrajan,

I can now confirm that I actually did reference a wrong hostname. A curious finding, though: As stated by @kylesouza in the original post, the screen just stays the same when clicking ‘next’. But this is on the new UI. When I switch to classic mode and do the same proces of setting up a custom domain name, I actually receive an error-message when clicking next. This error message mentioned the wrong host name. So that missing error-message in the new UI is something to work on for Microsoft 🙂
