Hello,

I would like to create a date field in a Power Apps.
This will allow me to update a date in an Excel file.
I would like to be able to see the date when it is already filled in or added.
And I would like the date to be in yyyy-mm-dd format.

Can anyone help me?

    Hi,

To create and manage a date field in Power Apps that updates an Excel file and displays dates in the "yyyy-mm-dd" format, you can use the Date Picker control:

    1. Insert a Date Picker control onto your canvas app.
    2. Customize the display format by using a Label control with Text(DatePicker1.SelectedDate, "yyyy-mm-dd").
    3. To show an existing date, set the Date Picker's DefaultDate property to the date from Excel.
    4. To update a date in Excel, use the Patch function with the appropriate table and column names in the OnSelect event of a button.
