Hi everyone,
I created a Power automate flow where I filter data from an Excel file. I want to share flow without share my Excel, which is saved in my OneDrive. how can i do this ? thanks @WarrenBelz@RandyHayes@Pstork1
If you build the flow in a Solution file and it uses some form of manual trigger, then you can set the Run Only user setting on the flow in the details. Lower right corner. That will let the flow run in the security context you specify. But that's assuming all you want to do is let other people run the flow, not have a copy of it.
I thought that flows can either use the authorization associated with the flow author or the person running the flow. Offhand I don't remember how this can be done but the documentation for setting up run permission should show this. Running the flow with your permissions would allow the flow to access the Excel file without you sharing it.
