Delete web role in power pages not working suddenly.

Delete a web role suddenly stopped working, Is there any update done by Microsoft .

All my APP environments got effected now.

The role and contact both are present , this was working till last week. Suddenly we observed in production its failing and same with all lower environments.

The URL for delete.

Hi, you shouldn't enable access to delete via permissions, afaik, Portal configuration tables are not supported or at least shouldn't be used via Web API

which Web Role did you delete? was it OOB anonymous/auth? or a custom one?

I believe the fix here will have to be re-creating and associate all your records with the web role.

Alternatively:

if you have exported your configuration to another environment you can export/import

if you have a backup from your environment you could restore and then export/import

It is a custom role for application . We have to deleted the role when users selects an option and assign a different role. This was working fine till last week .

Users when login will view details as Internal users( Role: Internal) , there is an option provided to Internal users who can gain access to Business users and view portal details as business user (Business user role gets added to contact and existing Internal Role should be delete).
Because of the issue users are seeing 2 screens in UI as Internal and business as both roles are staying and not getting deleted.

Hi,

I am facing same issue but in my case after registering user by self and redirect on profile page then creation of account is not working as expected.

Getting below error : {"error":{"code":"90040107","message":"Request validation failed : The provided anti-forgery token was meant for a different claims-based user than the current user.","innererror":{"code":"90040107","message":"Request validation failed : The provided anti-forgery token was meant for a different claims-based user than the current user.","type":"HttpAntiForgeryException"}}}

Please help us.

its all about add a new custom role and delete another custom role on performing an action .

API URL for Delete: https://orgXXXXXXXX.crm4.dynamics.com/api/data/v9.1/contacts(XXXXXXX)/adx_webrole_contact/$ref?$id=https://orgxxxxx.crm4.dynamics.com/api/data/v9.1/adx_webroles(xxxxx)

The api request is failing and giving the below error message.
Response:
"message": "The $id query parameter is not supported"
