Update Existing Item or Create Item in SharePoint List

Posted on by 39
Hi,
The first two steps of the flow is to copy the attachment to a sharepoint folder evertime a new mail arrives.

after the file is saved to SharePoint, I have the "Get items" that looks up the sharepoint list "OO_Flow_Completion_Tracker" for the name in Filter query.
and when passed through a condition it will override the existing name in the list of create a new one if the name doesnt exist.

however, I get the below error while testing the query.
Please advise what am I doing wrong and how to fix it.

In addition to what FLMike suggested, update your filter query to a valid expression. For example, Blackout_Open_Orders eq 'text to filter'. It seems odd, but maybe that is what the error message is trying to tell you, which is that the expression is not valid.

    Hi

Do this for me. Go to SharePoint. To that List.

Click the Gear (top right) and go to List Settings

Once that opens up, I want you to look for the field. Now let's say you dont see it, Problem solved. If you do see it, do one more step.

Click on the field name in the list
Once the details of that field open up, look at the URL in the browser. Verify how its spelled exactly (the url with END with the field name)

If its not working its because its not the correct name (spelling etc). For instance does it really have _ in the name or are those spaces? which need
    the character code for.

Or if you imported this list from Excel, it WONT say the original name, it will say Field23 or Field123123

    Etc

Go verify the Name and come back and let me know if that solves your issue. Or share a photo and verify that the Flow you are building is pointing to the correct list. (environment etc, as I dont know if you are using Enviornment variables or hard coding SharePoint url etc.
