I maintain two separate quote tools for my organization that tie into Power Automate and that store all of the data for quotes in a SharePoint List. The list for one of the quote tools has around 25,000 entries and the other one has around 1,200. Up until yesterday, things were working fine. There was some slight slowness for the quote tool that has 25,000 entries when it came to pulling up existing quotes because of the size of the list but it was on the scale of 5 seconds or so.
Sometime around midnight UTC on June 28th, something changed. I'm still checking with my organization to see if they changed something but it seems like maybe Microsoft changed something. For the quote tool with 25,000 entries in the list, it never fully loads the list. After a long time there the App Checker shows an error that says:
"An error occurred on the server. Server Response: <SharePoint_List_Name> failed: Request to the backend service timed out."
With the quote tool that has around 1,200 entries in the list, it takes a solid 1.5 to 2 minutes for the app to fully load the list.
As a test to see if it was strictly related to PowerApps, I setup a flow that is triggered manually that just retrieves the first 5,000 items from the large list (5,000 is the max you can do). After 10 minutes, the flow timed out.
I don't know if this is an issue with something my company changed (still looking into that), an issue with the Power X suite, or an issue with SharePoint but I figured I would check here. I can pull up that SharePoint list without issues and I can export it to CSV and to an Excel iqy file and those all work fine.
Anyone else seeing anything like this?
Working properly for me too!
same. issue fixed this morning. love it.
Microsoft resolved the Issue, everything working for us this morning. Yay!
Just adding that i have also had 2 Clients report the exact same errors with Timeout on connections. I cant see anything confirming a known issue but appears like it. Not got any visibility on if the issue is fixed yet but you are not alone 🙂
yep now working again for me too!
Now working normal speed!
Same problem since yesterday. My app is still working, but it seems to be loading data permanently, and has low performance. Has anyone found a solution yet?
We have exact same issue. PowerApps connecting to SharePoint Online was working fine until Tuesday after noon, then all of a sudden keep spinning with data not loading and then timed out. SharePoint List has limited rows (less than 2000).
We are slow too. I checked the services health in the Admin portal and it says "Healthy". This is the only forum I can get confirmation of performance issues. The analytics feature within the Admin portal only goes through 6/24 so it's useless.
since yesterday my deeplinks are taking 2-3 mins to load records too. reading other threads here there seems to be a Microsoft bug.
