Trying to Use a excel file as a data source but it is stored on a sharepoint site

Hi 

I am New to PowerApps and am trying to get it to take a data source in the form of a table in a excel file that is stored in a sharepoint Library but i can not seem to get access to the file i can get it to use the document Library as a data source but not the file

 

any help

    Hi @D4476M ,

     

    It is not supported to connect powerapps to Excel files stored in SharePoint document library.

    For the time being, excel files can only be used as data sources by means of static Excel or Excel files stored in OneDrive.

     

    I find that some ideas like yours have been submitted to PowerApps Ideas Forum, and lots of users follow up.
