How do you display HTML text within a View/List in Power Pages?

Hi

Is there a way to display HTML text in a View/List normally/formatted?

I have a number of fields that use the rich text editor to add/edit content.

However, when displayed in a View/List within Power Pages it displays all the HTML formatting e.g.

I can use a form as read-only to display the formatted text in a popup window e.g.

But this is an added user step that seems unnecessary.

 

Is there a way to format the text inside the View/List to show the text without the HTML formatting?

    Hi @Gary_Eden ,

    You would need to use custom JS to achieve this. You would need to add a code on onload event, run it line by line, get the HTML as a text and insert it back as an HTML (be careful and sanitize your HTML to prevent possible XSS attacks). See sample code on how to work with list in JS from MS here - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-pages/configure/add-custom-javascript-list

    Hi @OOlashyn

    Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

    I've already already been having a play with Liquid and FetchXML and had JavaScript experiments on my to do list. 

    Before working with PowerApps I was a web developer and with Power Pages I'm looking forward to brushing up on my CSS and JavaScript skills and applying them to Power Pages.

    Fun times ahead.
