Javascript not triggering on New Powerapps Grid control for OnRecordSelect event.

Hi I am calling a JS function on recordselect event of powerapps grid and I see JS is not triggering at all. But it works fine for normal grid and editable grid. has anyone faced this issue and sorted out.
