Hello,
I have more than 100K records in a table and I want to delete all the records from the table. I am using Dataverse for Teams. Hence bulk delete is not an option for me. This is what I have tried so far based on the response from this community posts:
1. Edit data in excel -> delete records -> publish. This does not seem to be reliable option since it takes enormous amount of time to publish the excel file
2. RemoveIf - does not work
3. Power Automate - Does not work
4. Created view to delete records - Does not work
5. Dataflows - 'Delete rows that no longer exist in the query output' option still keeps few thousand records in the table
I am looking for a time effective and less manual solution which will do the purpose. I really hope someone from the product team provide solution to this problem which is very common.
Regards,
-Nilesh
I have checked and looks like the XRM toolbox is unfortunately not working with Dataverse for teams.
@Mira_Ghaly Does this tool work for Dataverse for Teams? I managed to delete the records in Dataverse table using Dataflows. I kept only single record in my .CSV file and published my Dataflow. After publish was completed I deleted that single record manually from Dataverse table.
It would be interesting to learn about the tool you have mentioned.
Hi @aaaaaaaDDD
Have you tried using SQL for CDS tool from Xrmtoolbox
https://www.xrmtoolbox.com/plugins/MarkMpn.SQL4CDS/
Or Bulk update tool , it supports deletion as well
https://www.xrmtoolbox.com/plugins/AndyPopkin.BulkDeleteTool/
