View Details is not working as expected in the List View !!

Hi everyone,

I have an issue with the way "view details" is working. I have created 2 actions on the list view. These actions are View+Edit. Once I click on the individual items on the list, View/Edit works fine. However, when I click on the link, it takes me to the edit instead of the view option although the tooltip shows "view details". Below are the configurations. Can someone please check? Is it a bug in the system or something wrong with the configurations?

Hi @Anonymous ,
Options section that you are showing is only for the actions for the list item. Link is generated based on the Web Page for Details View field in General tab. Please update it to the page you want user to be navigated to.

@OOlashyn FYI: the Details would usually also pick up off the Options grid. The options grid came after the lookup fields for create/update/details and technically the lookups are considered more legacy. And the recommended usage is to not mix and match them i.e. either use all Options grid or the lookups not a mixture of both.

Thanks for your valuable feedback. I have updated the configurations mentioned by @OOlashyn but got the same result. @Fubar what can I try to resolve this issue. It works if I only use View option. However, when I add edit option, the link always takes me to the edit page. I have deleted and re-created the list but did not get the required/default results.

Can you please check if this is a bug in the system? The link should take me to the view-only record, but it takes me to the edit record. The drop down in the list is working as expected.
