Hello good morning,

I created a model driven app and I wanted to know how can I change a form section based on a field value selection.

For my case I have a form where I select a lookup field that is a list of shores (this field have fixed list of values) and I wanted to populate a section in that main form with the fields of other entity based on my selection of that list of shores.

Can you help me?

Thank you.

Best Regards.

I'm adding an image to illustrate better what I want.

    Hello good afternoon,

Thank you for your answer @a-ovbord ,

I already have that relationship between those two entities, but what I want is to set a form based on a option set field selection.

For my case when I select an option of that field in the section of the form will appear the form associated with that selection.

    Best regards.

    Hi @Anonymous,

So if you want to 'tie' two entities by a relational field, you can create a 1-many or many-many relationship between these entities as described here.

    For ex.

    Thank you,

    Hello good morning,

Thank you for your answer @a-ovbord and sorry for the delay.

Can you clarify better what I need to do for making my field to a lookup component?

    Best regards.

    Hi @Anonymous,

Did you configure that lookup field as a lookup component?

    Thank you,

    Ovidiu
