Hello All,
Thanks in advance for your time, If you can help me I'd appreciate a lot!
I'm creating a PowerApps and a PowerBI, for the App I'm using Dataverse as the data source and for PowerBI I'm using a dataflow that uses as data source the same Dataverse table - my goal is to when someone uses the app and modify the table to refresh the dataflow automatically and then PowerBI dataset... the problem is that the flow runs successfully but the dataflow doesn't get successfully refreshed for then to the dataset in PowerBI be refreshed... there is a delay and I was wondering If could be possible to add a constraint saying "only refresh dataset in Power BI if dataflow has been successfully refresh" - would you know how to solve this?
Please find below the flow image
Many thanks!
Hello @v-yueyun-msft , the error is due to PowerBI license that only allows 8 refreshes a day... but your power automate solution has helped me! thanks a lot!
Hi, @Anonymous
According to your description, you can run it successfully. First, you can try switching back to the classic editing page.
You can re-create your action and you need to check if you use the connection has access to refresh the dataflow?
You can also see the error code in the output in your flow run history.

Thanks for your input I'll try this method!
For the moment I'm receiving this error:
Before was working but now the dataflow refresh is failing... could it be due to license issues?
Hi , @Anonymous
I mean in your first flow , you do not need to refresh your dataset.
You can try to create second flow with "When a dataflow refresh complete" trigger to refresh your dataset.
You can test whether you use Refresh a DataFlow Action , you can use the "When a dataflow refresh complete" trigger to judge the dataflow refresh successfully?

Hello yueyun, thanks for your response!
Now I see basically this:
I added what you suggested but now I can see that the semantic model (3rd in the list) is not being refreshed with the flow... but (1st) the data flow is working - as you saw I have the refresh a dataset action but it is not working - what can I do in this case?
Hi , @Anonymous
You can try to add a now flow with "When a dataflow refresh complete" trigger to refresh your dataset.
For more information, you can refer to :
