Thanks for taking the time to read my post.
I have recently started playing around with Powerapps and not 100% on how to build an app idea I have.
I would like to have a screen with a table like design, this table would have around 10 columns and users would input the required information and then submit it to a SP list. Within the table I would like 3 dropdowns for certain columns, these would be cascading DDL's and use their own SP list to fill the information with. I have already learnt how to create these which was thankfully straight forward.
I've searched online and found Reza's videos using a gallery to achieve this but for some reason when i put a dropdown in the gallery and preview the app it disappears - im not 100% sure if using a gallery is the best approach.
Does anyone recommend a different approach i could take to achieve this?
hey @Kieran056
right now i would go with the normal suggestion because modern controls are still in preview and can be buggy at times

Thanks for the suggestions @mmbr1606!
I have checked out the normal method but not with the modern controls - would you suggest one of these is the main method i will have to use to create the app?
hey @Kieran056
i dont know which video of reza you watched but maybe this helps:
modern controls:
Power Apps Editable Grid using Gallery & Modern Controls (2023) - YouTube

Hi @mmbr1606
I'm open to other approaches, just not sure on how else to do it... So i tried a form which was successful, but the feedback i received was entering one row of information at a time was to time consuming which is how ive come to the format of a table like form which users could fill in multiple rows at once then submit (or patch) all that info over at the end
Thanks for responding i appreciate it!
hey @Kieran056
does it have to be a table, or are you also open to other aproaches?
have you already looked into a Form?
