how to add custom domain from godaddy

please help me how to add custom domain from godaddy as i have updated the cname record and waited for 48hours to reflect to the DNS server but till now it has not reflected in the powerapps portals

Hi @atish_123 ,

Probably better to contact Godaddy helpdesk to see why it is not reflecting. 48 hours is enough period. Once Godaddy has provided their confirmation then you need to procure an SSL certificate from them.

thanks ragavanrajan but i have contacted them and they said the same that , it will take 48hours to reflect but till now it hasn't reflected atleast domain should work but still problem is same . can you please confirm that i have added CNAME correctly.

Thanks ragavrajan i will surely connect with the godaddy support team. I needed one more help sir i am not able to save paypal transaction in my payment table in powerapps portals . can you please help us in integrating paypal payment gateway.

Hi @atish_123

Please delete your CNAME record from Godaddy and try to add it in the following way.

Type Domain Name Canonical Name TTL

CNAME your custom domain URL. EX: myportal.co.nz yourportalname.powerappsportal.com 5min (300)

And then publish your DNS record.

You should see a confirmation stating that is published successfully. Please wait for 24 or 48 hours to reflect the new DNS entry.

thank you ragavanrajan. i have done it and even i contacted godaddy they said to put my powerappsportals.com in forwarding dns so i have done that and now i think it should reflect within 24hrs and after that i should be able to add in the powerapps portals custom domain field
