How do I edit 'Profile Name' after logging in via AD?

Hello Everyone.

I have a demo portal. It has AD login enabled.

You click Sign In and then you get asked to enter AD details.

From this (not signed in):

To this (when signed in):

So, if the AD username is john.b then I would expect to see john.b instead of Profile Name once logged in.

How can I make their logged in username or email address be displayed instead of showing Profile Name?

Hope this makes sense.

please nagivate to profile page and check the first name & last name .
General First name and Last Name in the contact while be visible there

Thank you for the reply @Surendran_R , sorry for the late response.

On my demo portal, when you signed in it displayed the profile page to fill out the name details. I originally disabled this because I incorrectly thought it pulled that data from the logged in AD profile - is this not the case?

I presume this is required in order to fill out the correct profile name?

So, can the profile page (above) be edited so that all they have to fill out is First Name and Last Name? That no other fields are visible?

Hi @ianwuk,

what @Surendran_R pointed out is correct and yes your suggestion is correct as well.
The header is a codesnippet which you can extend to your belongings.
You will find a full explanation here: https://www.agarwalritika.com/post/understanding-header-in-power-apps-portals
At that page at component#9 you will find the code which tells the power page on what and when to render.
Especially that part is interesting for you:

As the fullname is a combination from surname and lastname it is empty in your case leading to nothing is displayed or the escape value. If you enter information into the columns the name should be displayed.

The profile page uses the "Profile Web Form" form in the Contact table. You can modify that in the powerapps maker portal.
