Opening a canvas app inside Teams gets to an infinite loading loop

Hello community,

 

I have a Power App (canvas app) that is used mainly inside Teams. It is NOT a Dataverse for Teams app, it is built in Power Platform and added as a zip-file in Teams store.

 

My organization uses this app daily as a global app in Teams and most of the users have pinned it to their left sidebar in Teams. Lately though, there has been some strange behavior when opening the app. For example, first you navigate to "Chat" or "Teams" in your Teams and after that click the Power App. The app gets stuck in this continuous white loading screen and nothing happens.

When you refresh the app from the top-right corner, the app starts loading normally and opens up. For some reason, the initial launch is the problem when you come to the app from somewhere else in Teams.

 

Has anyone else experienced this type of behavior lately? The problems started for us this week.

    We have already created a case about this and the problem is not solved yet. I was just wondering if anyone else has the issue...
