How to configure authentication in Model driven Power Apps

Posted on by

The portal authentication can be enabled to customers using microsoft, google etc logins. Is there any other provision for a better User Experience for logging to the portal.

Any help would be appreciated.

Is it possible to use the portal as a public website within Microsoft customizations.

thank you

Hi, Microsoft recommends using Azure AD B2C as your only Authentication Method in your Portals

I did a session on a D365 Saturday on Authentication, take a look to see if it helps:

The PowerApps Portal can be used like a website (but if that is all you need there are probably cheaper options).  The Portal supports public access by allowing you to have Pages that do not require authentication (such as just general content), and the ability to use a Web Role that has been set for Anonymous use  e.g. XRMToolBox is a PowerApps Portal that is public facing https://www.xrmtoolbox.com
