Colour code "yes/no" columns in a model-driven app view

Posted on by 8
Hello Power Platform community,

I have a model-driven app which has a table called "Expenses".
On the table is a "yes/no" column called "Essential". It, of course, has two values: "Yes" and "No". I've added a colour to each value.

I want to display these colours on a view in the model-driven app. I've enabled the "Component" of "Power Apps grid control" on the view, and enabled "Enabled OptionSet colors" to "Yes".

But, what I've noticed is the "yes/no" values are still not colour coded. I added a test "Choice" column to my view, with the values colour coded, and they appear colour coded in the view.

So does this mean the "yes/no" columns won't become colour coded as they are not "Choice" aka "Optionset" columns?

And if so, does anyone know how to colour code the "yes/no" columns in a view?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks very much,

Garry
