Power Pages usage with Azure services

Hello everyone,

I am looking at the Power Pages and as complete novice, and I am wondering if this could be better solution than e.g. PowerBI with PowerApps integration for internal use (for company). Are you able to connect the Power Pages with the Azure services (like SQL, Data bricks etc.) to show the data but also allow the users to modify them via some kind of form?

Hi Martin,

I'm a novice as well and so open to correction but one of the big differences is that power apps has a large suite of connectors for connecting to the likes of SQLSvr and many more. Power Pages doesn't support connectors so you would either have to use virtual tables back to the datasource from within dataverse (row level security?) or directly access azure services via APIs but then you have to cater for authentication etc. in a predominantly client side scripting architecture. From my initial impressions, Power apps handles this connectivity so much easy in a low code friendly. However, connecting to azure services generally means premium connectors so things get expensive with a larger user base.
