Question on creating flow to send email on submitting a form in model driven app

Hi Guys,

I have question on model driven app. Can you advice how to send notification via flow on submitting a main form?

In my scenario, there is a "change request" sub area in the model driven app. When filling details and saving/submitting a new change request form, it should send email notification via flow. I'm unable to figure out how to define the trigger point for the flow. Can you please advice?

Hi @Vasa1980 ,

In this case I would utilize the Dataverse connector and utilize the trigger based on the "Added or Modified" condition. This way when your record is added or modified it will trigger the flow. You can even get specific to a certain column changing if you want as well by adding the column values (can be a list comma separated) so every change doesn't trigger your flow. I show this with the AccountRatingCode below as example.
