The flow cannot recognize if the email has attachment or not

I tried the method above and successfully created a task from email with subject and body content. However, I cannot create the folder to store the attachments. It seems like the automation cannot recognize if the email has attachment or not.

Could anyone help me? Thank you.

    Hi @Anonymous

I know it's not like this in my post but try the below, just in case

    Capture-575.png

Also, look at the run data for "When a new email arrives (V3)", look at the JSON output (or post an image back) to see if the "HasAttachment" is reporting as true or false, it looks like there is no attachment but I'd be guessing untill I see the JSON ouput.

If you have found my post helpful, please mark thumbs up.

    Any other questions, just ask.

    Thanks, Alan

    Hi @Anonymous ,

As described by @AlanPs1 , the first thing you need to do is make sure the email you receive contains attachments.

Flow run history shows that the action in If yes was not executed, because the result of Condition is false.

When configuring the Condition, you can directly use the Has Attachments output by the Get email action to determine whether the email contains attachments.

Also, I noticed that you have set the Include Attachments in the Get email action to Yes, so it can get the attachments.

    Please take a try again.

    Best Regards

    Thanks for the reply @AlanPs1 @v-bacao-msft @ChristianAbata

I set the include attachment to "YES" but it still doesn't work.

Here is the run history for "When a new email arrives (V3)"

@Anonymous  Your fisrt code is correct there is nothing wrong with it. Do not change to 'yes' keep it at 'no', it processes email with no attachments. Try change your step of Get email to Get email (2) and try again.

    Thank you all!
    I made it!
I just set the folder setting to "no need to check out" and it works perfectly.

    Hello @Anonymous,

I am having the exact same problem as you were having.

could you elaborate on how you changed the folder setting to "no need to check out"?

That might be the thing I need as well.
