How to insert a button within a form

Hello All,

As a newbie I am sure this is easy but I tried for a while and could not work it out.
Whenever I insert a button it gets created outside of the form and cannot drag it within the form.
How do I move the button inside the form so when I scroll the form down the button moves with other text.

thank you
Star Citizen

    Hi @Star_Citizen ,

I believe you're asking how to insert a button into an edit form, specifically one of the data cards within the form.

You'll need to select one of the data cards in the Edit Form, then try to add the button from the Insert pane on the Left.

You'll be prompted to Unlock the card, select "Unlock and add"

This should then add the control "inside" the form.

    Hope this helps 🙂

    Hello sgtsnacks64.

    thankyou for your reply.

Your solution is almost what I want, but I want the button not to be part of a card.
I need it to be independent as I will only be using it to a submit a form, and I may hide some of the cards depending on the situation.
Hope the below picture gives a better idea what I need.

Ah cool I see what you're saying.

I don't believe this is possible, as the control needs to be in a datacard. You could potentially create one from another field, strip everything out and leave the button in there. However, this probably won't end up at the bottom of the page like you might be hoping for.

    Hi @Star_Citizen,

You can add a custom card to your form, then insert the button into this custom card.

As you can see, I have made this custom card take the whole width and adjusted the height to be able to make the button be at the bottom of the form.
