I can see Dynamics 365 Portals under Solutions in my personal Productivity Environment - Is this normal?

Hi,

I found a bunch of solutions that start with Dynamics 365 Portal.. under our Personal Produtivity Environment. Is this normal or could someone have imported these. I wondered if our citizen developers could start to use these solutions and what the consequences would be in terms of licensing or costs.

Power Pages is an evolution of Power Apps portals, and the new features introduced by Power Pages such as the new design studio and templates are in preview for users to try and provide feedback. As you work on projects and need to establish permanent sites that don't expire, Power Apps portals licenses can be used and Power Pages sites can be converted from trial to production.

If you are seeing other solutions means you already have powerapp portals created under that environment.

The short answer? This particular product team likes to change product names without making significant technical changes. They've done this several times, as a result Portals, under the hood are a bit of a mess. Let's be nice and just say the product is in the middle of a transition. The good news is, if you look pass the mess they are extremely powerful.

Many thanks for the response, if I may rephrase my original question. Can everyone see these D365 portals solutions under the Personal productivity Environment? This is the default environment where everyone in the organisation are free to create Power Apps and Flows. In the meantime I will see what I can find on Power Pages and what end users are able to do without IT's involvement.

Thanks for your concerns. You can still use the PowerApp Portals for the production. The PowerPages are still under preview. All existing features will be available from PowerApp portals to PowerPages when it moved to general availability.

Hi, I'm most grateful for your reply however I fear we've gone off track. My question has a simple yes or no answer.
Qu. Should we be seeing the Dynamics Portals solutions in our Personal Productivity (Default) Power Platform Environment? I was wondering if these solutions were imported or were they always present from the beginning.
