Is it possible using power automate to have a message posted automatically whenever a new team or channel is created?

It's not possible to create a Team with Power Automate, only a channel within a Team.

But its not possible to create a new team using Power Automate? In this scenario I would want a Manual trigger to create a brand new team without any channels and post a message.
If I change the Channel from Output to general the first steps become unused because I dont want to create a new channel.

Yes, just select the General channel in the Channel field rather than selecting the output of the Channel ID.

This is great info! Is it possible to have the message go to the general chat when the team is created instead of a specific channel?

When you run the flows, enter the name of the channel and then the rest will happen automatically:

Ok, so sounds like its probably not possible for when a new team is created to have a message automatically post in the new team?

Hi @Anonymous

Basic rule for the Flow is you need to have a trigger. By looking the List Teams actions it won't give created date as part of output. What I was thinking is run a scheduled flow every day against created date but looks like its not possible. Also for List Channels you need to pass the Team Id.

Ok, so for example. I want the manual trigger to go off when a new Team is created that then posts the message in that new team. What would the steps be for that?

@abm, no that's when a new channel message is added, not a channel itself.
