Request date not equal to Modified when a new list item is created

Hi all,

I have been running a flow for a couple of months now. Everything went well until recently, when the flow started failing from time to time (4% of the time).

At some point in the flow, a distinction has to be made between a new list item or a list item that has been modified. In order to do that, I included a condition that checked if the 'request date' is equal to the 'modified date'. If they were equal, that ment that the list item was new, and it worked fine.

What I see now is that there is a difference between the request date and the modified date when I create a new list item (see image).

Does anybody have an idea what's the reason for this and how to overcome it?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

AVH

    Hi AVH,

I think what the issue is when you create a new list item, the Modified time and Request date may be different sometimes.

I’m confused about the Request date. Where does it come from? Did you create a column named Request date and add the date manually. Or, the Request date was come from the Start an approval action.

Could you please share a screenshot of your flow's configuration? Then I can make a test for you on my side.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Best regards,

    Zhonys
