Random token related failures

Hi there,
I have a flow set up attached to power apps, that should be sending email, also adjusting a SP list item, and I am seeing random failures related to token lifetime. I'm familiar with token lifetime limitations and connectors, and all my connectors seem to be connected with no issues. The flow will run 9/10 time with no errors and seems to fail with the below error only sometimes.. my company wants to roll out this power app for wide scale use but I'm having doubts about reccomending this due to the below error occuring 10% of the time . What can I do to resolve this? I'll gladly provide any additional details if anyone has questions. I've been googling around and found a couple other related articles but haven't found any consistent answers..
Thanks for your expertise.

    Try this

    1. Set Up a Service Account for Your Flows

    • Create a dedicated service account with the appropriate permissions—avoid using your personal account for this purpose, as it could lead to security or operational issues.
    • Use this dedicated account to manage connection references in all of your flows, ensuring consistency and reliability across your automation processes.
    • By doing this, you prevent reliance on user tokens, which are prone to expiring frequently and can cause unnecessary disruptions and technical headaches.2

    2. Fix Broken Connections

    • Navigate to Power Automate > Connections to get an overview of the current statuses of your connections.
    • Identify any connections flagged with “Error” or marked as “Needs attention”, which can disrupt the functionality of your flows.
    • Manually reconnect these problematic connections to restore their functionality, or, if necessary, ask the respective users to resolve the issue themselves.

    3. Add Backup Options in Your Flows

    • Implement “Configure run after” settings on critical steps within your flows, such as actions involving SharePoint or sending emails, to account for potential errors.
    • If a step fails due to token-related problems, design your flow to trigger a child flow through an HTTP request as a backup mechanism.
    • This child flow can operate under the service account, ensuring continuity, but keep in mind that you’ll need a premium connector to set this up effectively.1

    4. Keep Tabs on Failures

    • Configure a Power Automate flow that monitors failed runs and sends notifications or alerts to designated admins as soon as an issue is detected.
    • Utilize the “Get flow run history” API or monitor the Power Platform Admin Center to maintain full visibility and control over your flows’ performance.

    5. Remind Users to Reconnect Regularly

    • Encourage your users to log in and reconnect to their accounts every few weeks—this is a simple yet effective way to ensure uninterrupted operation and smooth performance.
    • Consider integrating a “Connection health check” screen directly into your app to simplify this process and make it more accessible for users, enhancing overall efficiency.
